Q: I am looking for a photographer. What sets you apart from the rest?
A: There are so many talented photographers out there; but I think what sets me apart is the unique creative touches that I provide, the most obvious being the fact that I can offer both photography AND makeup services for your photo session.
Adding a makeup application to your photo session makes such an amazing difference. Image how beautiful you will feel and the ease of not having to go to the salon to get your makeup done prior to your shoot! It saves you time, not to mention money, makes you feel gorgeous which in turn, makes you more confident in front of the camera.
Another unique service I provide is the use of handmade accessories from my Etsy shop called The Strawberry Hill, as well as my creative spirit: I love props and sewing fun things for my sessions. All of these things will add up to a unique photo session that is tailored to YOU and your family. I want your session to speak of who you are, your style, your personalities. If I can provide creative ideas to communicate that, that is exactly what I'll do.
Some examples of creative touches I have provided for my clients' sessions are the following:
Bow Ties & Tie T-Shirts for the guys
Coordinating Headbands
Burlap Buntings
Wooden Signs
Wooden Tee-Pee
My professional background in Makeup Artistry & Visual Merchandising in Washington D.C., as well as my Art degrees, places the color, design and composition of your photo session at the forefront of my mind.

Q: How long will it take to get our photos back from you?
A: Besides waiting for the birth of your baby, or finding out if you got the job, the anticipation of seeing your photo session can rank right up there as far as exciting & (sometimes) agonizing experiences. As a consumer myself, I simply itch from excitement of seeing our family pictures. With that in mind, my goal is to always provide you with a Sneak Peek on my Facebook page the evening of your photo session. Depending on the time of year, two to three weeks is my goal for you to have your entire edited session in your sweet little hands. An exception to this would be if you are placing a print order, as that would obviously add a few shipping days to that timeline.
Q: How much does a photo session cost?
Q: I am looking for a Makeup Artist to do my makeup for a photo session. Can I hire you even though I have another photographer doing my pictures?
Q: HELP! I have no idea what to wear to my photo session!
Q: Do you come to me to do makeup, or do I go to you? Also, will you be using my makeup?
A: When deciding pricing for my sessions, I have to take into consideration not just the session length (all sessions are a minimum of 1 hour, with the exception of Mini Sessions), but the editing time, processing, ordering prints, as well as the scouting locations, discs, etc.
That being said, your photo session will result in images that you will have forever, ones that are truly an investment. I like to bridge the gap between affordability and high quality.
Full Session pricing begins at $150.
Mini Sessions are a lower rate and will be advertised when available.
Session Pricing is available by contacting me at prettyfacesbysasha@hotmail.com or by contacting me on Facebook under Pretty Faces By Sasha.
A: You most certainly can, and I hope you do! I started out as a Makeup Artist and that will always be a passion of mine. I will work with your photographer to come up with a plan that works best with you both. Makeup here or on location? We'll make it happen. Obviously, makeup application by Pretty Faces will have a separate fee from your photographer's fee. Check out the Makeup Gallery to see some examples of some pretty beautiful women.
A: Don't you fret! I love styling sessions and will gladly help you figure out a great wardrobe without breaking the bank. There is no need to go out and buy each family member a new outfit (unless you are feeling frisky). It's all about layers, color, and accessories. I'll be available from the moment you book Pretty Faces until after your session to help you answer those questions or just to provide some suggestions.
Pretty Faces also has a Pinterest Board (or two) to give you inspiration.
A: We can do what is easiest for you! My fees include 30 miles round trip from my zip code. Anything after that, there will be a small mileage fee. So, on-location is very much welcome! If that doesn't work for you, you are more than welcome to come over to my house. I'll give you coffee and we can chat. Just ignore my two silly kiddos: they will hug and kiss you to death.
As for makeup, I have an arsenal of makeup ready for you. There is no need for you to drag your stuff out, unless there is a product that you just have to use. I have no problem with that. But I can assure you I come prepared: from eye lash curlers, to lipgloss; from moisturizer to setting spray, I'll have it in my kit.
I only use brands that I love, who's makeup will give you a flawless and beautiful look. Some of these brands are:
- Bobbi Brown
- MAC
- Tarte
- Revlon
- Smashbox
- Clinique
- Mally Beauty
- Urban Decay
- NARS
